Embossing is a ‘Raised’ impression effect on the surface of the cards while Debossing is a stamped impression ‘into’ the card surface. Depending on the card thickness the impression may be visible on the reverse side of the card. All letterpress printing features a Deboss impression by nature of the printing process. It may be added as an upgrade on full color printed cards.
