Plastic cards are printed in full color on durable credit card thick (30 mil) pvc plastic. Plastic cards are available in several options – Silk lamination, Glossy Lamination and Frosted Transparent. Silk laminated plastic has a silky smooth matte finish while Glossy plastic has a high shine finish. Frosted Transparent plastic has a textured translucent look. All Plastic cards are waterproof and tear-proof.
Yes – Our Plastic cards can be upgraded with foils and spot gloss to create a customized look. Adding spot gloss to Frosted Transparent plastic adds a dimension that can be seen through the card for a unique effect. Large coverage areas for foil are not recommended due to the possibility of chipping. Rounded corners are included on all plastic cards at no additional cost.
Silk Laminated and Glossy Plastic is white and will not affect the color of your printed artwork. Due to its transparent nature, Frosted Transparent Plastic will have a significant effect on the appearance of images and artwork. Printing will have a translucent effect and color saturation is diminished due to the lack of white in the background. The see through nature of the Frosted Plastic can be used to create truly unique design effects.
Plastic stock is unique in it’s, thickness and durability. Plastic is waterproof and tear-proof which gives them a much longer life span than traditional paper stocks. Plastic card stock is ultrathick and makes a bold statement.
Plastic cards can be printed with any type of artwork, from full color images and photos to solid spot colors and black and white. The base stock color for Silk and Glossy Plastic is white and will not affect the color or look of your artwork. Frosted Plastic is transparent and will dramatically affect the way images and art look when printed on it. Please consult our Print and Design experts for tips and suggestions.
Bleeds
Any images or elements that Bleed off of the very edge of a design need to be set up to extend 0.125” past the Trim Line.
Trim Line
This is the final cut size of you design. Anything that is placed beyond the Trim Line will not appear on the finished product.
Live Area
The Live Area is the best space to keep the important elements of the design. It is about 0.125” set in from the Trim Line.

Yes – Edits may be requested or you can cancel an order prior to final proof approval. Once you have approved the order for printing your order cannot be changed or canceled.
We strive for perfection but mistakes and errors can occur. If you receive your order and it is misprinted or was damaged during printing or shipping we request images showing the issue so that we can review and provide the best possible solution. For some orders we may require a physical sample to be sent for review. Misprinted and damaged orders will be reprinted at no charge.
Please note that issues must be brought to our attention via email within 2 weeks of receiving your order.
Turnaround times vary depending on the product and the options ordered. Generally orders print and ship within 10-12 business days. Specific lead times are listed on product ordering pages. Some products may be rush shipped upon request, subject to additional cost.
