Just steps from Arizona State University, W6 (West Sixth) condominiums soar 20 stories high over downtown Tempe (Mill Avenue District) and Tempe Town Lake. The modern condominiums are filled with just about every living necessity. W6 contains a yoga room, fitness center, roof top pools, spas, and more. W6 is one of the hottest, newest, and coolest ways to live in Tempe, Arizona.
The James Agency built an incredible website for West Sixth. Their concept for the Tempe Locale was something we had to work on. For this project, we turned to our lead developers' guidance. They did an incredible job creating the feeling of a pure 360 degree view from the top of the condominiums. The site features dining, nightlife, shopping, restaurants, transportation and more - all just walking distance from W6. Our development team created smooth transitions and fluid flowing animations for a true birds eye view of the Tempe city skyline. View the live W6 website, click around, and enjoy yourself in downtown Tempe, Arizona.
AJAX is a front end development technique for displaying hidden content or images without having to reload or affect the current display/feel for the user. When handed this project, our development team turned to AJAX for smooth entering and exiting of information (images / content). Using AJAX, the 360 degree city view and overall promotion turned out to be a development success and it was completed to perfection. With that said, our job is done for now. However, what if the management of W6 would like to update their site with more locations and content changes to each location (website, address, phone number, etc). Well, not to worry - our development team also included an easy to use backend for future updates and additions to the campaign that dynamically updates the (hidden) AJAX. This can be accomplished with the click of a button and without any knowledge of coding/website development for W6 management.
Almost every large company creates promotional campaigns for one reason or another. It could be to market a new product or service, for pre-launches, or to highlight a key company attribute. For W6, their Tempe Locale campaign consisted of showing their audience just another reason why they should consider W6 for home and living. What better way to do so than to provide the same look and feel as if you were peeking your head out of the window units. For future and present tenants, this promotional campaign provides W6 with its own interactive map of the city.
