Eco Aluminum Pallets:
the story:
Eco Aluminum Pallets is setting out to revolutionize a product that has been used for years; the common shipping pallet. Considering what Taste of Ink did for business cards and printing, Eco approached us and we felt like this relationship would be a perfect fit for both of us. We started first by analyzing the current shipping pallet market and discovered a couple viable positions that Eco Aluminum Pallets could take in their marketing efforts.
After carefully dissecting the routes we could venture in, we chose to focus on the environmental and financial benefits that Eco Aluminum Pallets offers its clients and customers. We developed a state-of-the-art website around these features (and their products of course) to help corporate executives make educated decisions on their shipping solutions.
In addition, we provided them with a multitude of promotional campaigns (ThePalletTruth.org and their own pallet calculator) to further spread the message, along with a video written, produced, and edited by our web team.
Website Features: The following custom options were requested by our client.

Eco Aluminum Pallets is a unique type of pallet company, with a different product then most companies within the pallet industry. Their pallets are a thing of beauty; they anodize them using colored dyes, customize their size per their clients' requests, and even engrave logos for that added personal touch. Our team felt that the rest of the world should be able to view these gorgeous shipping containers, and so an easily navigable portfolio was built.
video player
Eco Aluminum Pallets was built with a custom content management system, skinned out to look exactly like the front-end of the site that the daily user sees. Its capabilities are endless, including the functionality to upload videos, and/or insert embedded YouTube videos with the greatest of ease. Their marketing manager will never have to contact a web designer or developer to make changes to their website's content.
blog platform
Because of Eco's position on environmental issues, they required an easily editable blog platform that they could use to showcase related news articles to help further explain their stance on the many controversial dilemmas within the pallet industry today.
lightbox
Lightboxes are by no means a new technology. They are used across the internet on all types of websites. However, most of them come pre-packaged and use generic skins. Eco's lightbox needed to match its contemporary and corporate brand aesthetic, and that is exactly what our design/development team built.
content scripting
There is a saying in the online advertising world; "Content is KING." Even with Google's continually changing algorithms, it is still one of the most integral aspects of solid search engine optimization. And don't let anyone tell you differently. Our content scripting team carefully crafted every word and sentence within Eco Aluminum Pallets' pages, and what do you know... within 5-6 months time, they sky-rocketed to the top of search engine rankings across the internet. Feel free to open up your favorite search engine and search for aluminum pallets (a broad search). Surprised? We're not.
promo campaign
Prior to their fully-functional website launch, Eco Aluminum Pallets wanted to make their presence known on the World Wide Web. It was also a goal of theirs to inform potential companies/clients about the money they could save by switching to Eco's product. Our art directors brainstormed and created the Pallet Pricing Calculator (currently seen on their Eco Savings page) to show CEOs and Marketing Directors an exact estimate of the money they could apply to other aspects of their business.
