the story:

ZuZu is the restaurant inside the critically acclaimed Hotel Valley Ho which is located in old town Scottsdale, Arizona. ZuZu features an extensive menu filled with breakfast, brunch, dinner, happy hour, and more. Because of our relationship with The James Agency, they turned to us for some more pixel-perfect web-development and as always, we were happy to oblige.

The ZuZu website functionality is quite standard for a restaurant. It is focused around their incredible food and their drink menu is filled with vivid imagery and product photography. We added smooth flowing animations to the photos and also integrated the site with a fun Javascript technique called Parallax which places selected items in a 3-dimensional environment. As the users move their mouse, elements of the site follow the cursor in 3D space. This feature was not only fun to develop for the ZuZu's website, but it can be integrated into any website with ease for subtle user entertainment. Every successful restaurant has a following of fans and regulars that visit the establishment on a consistent basis. Why not have your customers promote for you within their social circles? The ZuZu website includes social media integration that directs users to ZuZu's Facebook page, Twitter account, and YouTube. This also allows for site users and customers to connect to ZuZu online and receive promotions and events through the social media platforms.

Each Special Event within the gallery can be enlarged for a vivid view of the image. We developed this section so that the photograph loads within a lightbox display. After viewing, the user can then exit the lighbox by clicking on the X, which is located on the top right of the image. This is an affordable and easy attribute that can be added to any website.
